About Dahanna

Through Dahanna and my independent visual work, I explore e-commerce as a creative medium itself, not just a sales channel. How do we tell a piece's story online? How do graphic design and digital art make craft more accessible? Dahanna Jewels was born from that duality: a brand where traditional craftsmanship meets digital art, graphic design, and e-commerce. Every piece is designed not just as an accessory, but as a story. My work focuses on sustainable, innovative jewelry that carries meaning. At Dahanna, we specialize in designing and creating unique jewelry pieces that blend modern aesthetics with cultural expressions. Our commitment to sustainability and individuality shows in every handcrafted piece, whether it's statement jewelry or personalized gifts like mugs and fine art prints. We celebrate careful craftsmanship and self-expression.

Dahanna is a brand born out of love for beads, pearls, vivid colours and passion for life.

Background

I’m a designer and digital artist working where jewelry, technology, and visual storytelling meet. I'm the founder of Dahanna, a contemporary jewelry startup. I draw on my background in computer science and design. I’m a BNU alumna, B.Des in Textile, Fashion, and Accessories Design with a specialization in Jewellery and Accessories, 2021. I’m also an alumna of The City School (Matriculation in Computer Science, 2012) and Punjab Group of Colleges (Intermediate in I.C.S., 2017). My background bridges two worlds. That logical, digital foundation led me to discover how technology could shape craft. That foundation in technology shaped how I think about design as a system of storytelling. There, I learned to translate heritage techniques into contemporary form. With a unique background bridging computer science and fashion design, her practice explores the future of accessories through digital innovation, sustainable materials, and narrative-driven design. My profile has been featured by Profile Pakistan and exhibited at the Seeding Justice Exhibition at Columbia University's Justice Centre. My contributions to sustainability, design, and innovation have been recognized by ECOGEN, Beaconhouse National University, and Sapphire Retail Limited.

My name is Arfa Ajaz, and I grew up in Lahore, Pakistan. I don't hide my scars or pretend my life is perfect. Instead, I want to share my real story of survival. I remember the first time I noticed my voice was different. I was born with a soft cleft palate, which affected my speech and my teeth. I had throat surgery on my uvula, and as a child, I came close to death from a high fever. Allah gave me a second chance at life. Since my teenage years, I have lived with PCOS. From childhood, I have loved cats more than anything. I am the girl who stops for every cat she sees on the street. On November 16, 2025, I brought home a 45-day-old male Persian kitten named Joe, or Jojo. He helped me heal. His purr is a gentle, steady sound that eases my stress and pain. His soft, high-pitched meow or trill always feels warm and affectionate. Joe Jojo means everything to me. He is not just a pet; he is my soulmate. This is my true journey of healing in body, mind, and soul with my Persian kitten, Joe Jojo, whose purrs saved me.
